We had to replace our existing ceiling fan after over 20 yrs old. We did a lot of research & decided on the Hinkley brand. It was easy for my husband to install. It's quiet & easy to operate. Hopefully will have this one another 20 years too. We highly recommend this to others!

We ceiling mounted the fan with the remote controller in the ceiling canopy piece. Installation was fairly straight forward. We mounted the safety wire in the attic. We made sure that the ceiling box was fan qualified. There is a fair amount of small screws some pre-installed; be careful what is removed loosened or used. Some are only loosened some removed some in a bag to be used. We really enjoy the power of the fan. It has three speeds plus reverse direction switch. The remote light control is on/off no dimming. The remote allows a standard 2 wire circuit to support separate fan and light operation.
